MALLEE District Aboriginal Services is searching for its sixth chief executive in just four years after the resignation of Darlene Thomas.

Ms Thomas, who has been in the role the past 18 months and at MDAS for nine years, announced on Monday she was stepping down to pursue new opportunities and spend more time with family.
