MIXED RESULT: Leitchville's Jean Devitt, left, and Cohuna's Elva Lyons signalled the result of a completed end during Wednesday's NDBD midweek pennant Division Two second semi-final.

BOTH of this season's Northern District Bowls Division midweek pennant minor premiers will face potential elimination next Wednesday after losing their respective second semi-finals.

Division One leaders, Pyramid Hill and defending Division Two premiers, Leitchville both lost their finals, held at Barham Services on Wednesday and yesterday.

All games were halted on Wednesday when the temperature reached 38 degrees, leaving players to return to the greens for a second day to complete the remaining matches.

Last season's Division One grand finalists, Kerang had Pyramid Hill's measure throughout the second semi-final, eventually prevailing 76-67.

Pyramid Hill will play Cohuna Golf at Cohuna in next Wednesday's preliminary final after Kerang Golf forfeited the match.

Cohuna Golf held a 20-shot lead against their first semi-final opponents with six ends to play, but due to four players being unavailable to return to action the next day and a lack of substitutes who met finals qualification guidelines, Kerang Golf chose to give the opponents the win.

Meanwhile, Cohuna stunned Leitchville in the Division Two second semi-final, coming from behind to win 43-34.

Leitchville will need to defeat Cohuna Golf in next Wednesday's preliminary final after the team's 50-44 win against Kerang.
