Time is running out for a funding bid to repair flood damage at Leitchville Lions Park.

A submission for a $34,400 grant under the innovative Pick My Project is due to be forwarded within days, but a State Government department is denying consent until a cultural heritage assessment is completed.

Pick My Project is a Victorian first community grants initiative, with $30 million available to fund local projects. Citizens are encouraged to present a project idea, then the community will vote for its favourites to make their community an even better place to live. Applications must be submitted on an online application form by Sunday.
