FORECAST thunderstorms on Wednesday brought a rolling band of dust over northern Victoria, but little rain to vast areas parched by drought.
The Bureau of Meteorology said that huge clouds of dust over parts of the north were part of a line of storms moving east across the State, stretching from Kerang in the north to Colac in the south.
Just 8.0 was recorded in the guage at Kerang.
Further west, there was flooding at Murrayville and Longerenong, near Horsham, recorded 29 millimetres, the majority in a 20-minute burst.
Conditions remained humid and unsettled yesterday.
