Ban for rough conduct

COHUNA Kangas player Dylan Friedberger will miss the next three matches after being suspended for engaging in rough conduct against an opponent.

The AFL Central Murray Tribunal met on Tuesday to consider a report submitted by the match review panel for engaging in rough conduct against an opponent which in the circumstances was considered unreasonable.

Dylan Friedberger was required to have his case heard by the independent tribunal after allegedly making unreasonable contact with a Koondrook-Barham player, resulting in the player being knocked out, within the first few minutes of the Round 1 clash on Saturday, April 13.

After reviewing all the evidence, the tribunal found Friedberger guilty and delivered a three-match penalty, with an extra two-match suspended sentence for the remainder of 2019 season.
