New cars stolen

THREE vehicles were stolen from Kerang Toyota overnight on Sunday.

One of the cars was recovered on Monday morning in Boundary St, undamaged.

Police are appealing for information on a new white Toyota Hilux and white Toyota Prado that are still missing.

A TOYOTA Hilux utility was stolen from Hayes Lane, Kerang, at about 6.30am last Friday and it was located two days later on the outskirts of Kerang.

A MISSING quad bike was taken from a Cohuna property in close proximity to another residence where an agricultural motorbike was stolen.

The ag-bike was taken from a shed on an Island Road property and then left on the side of the road about 150 metres away after the offender was apparently unable to start the engine.

The quad bike was stolen from nearby Garner Road and is still missing.

It is a red Honda TRX, valued at $12,000.

The Cohuna Kangas Football Netball Club premises at the recreation reserve was entered between late Thursday night and Sunday morning and a quantity of cash was stolen.

A safe containing cash and a Go-pro camera were taken from Mawson's industrial centre, adjacent to the Murray Valley Highway at Cohuna between 11am on Sunday and 5am yesterday. 

Senior Constable Travis Collier said that the fence was cut and a window opened to gain access.

They were released pending summons and the outcome of analysis.
