The informal group consisted of nine singers and musicians, but will vary in size from one concert to another.

Audience members were encouraged to sing along to an assortment of numbers spanning a range of eras.

Selected songs included Cotton Fields, Oh Susanna, Somewhere over the Rainbow, and Blue Moon as well as slightly more modern offerings such as Tenterfield Saddler.

The group's repertoire also includes some of the work of Buddy Holly, the Beatles and other popular bands and singers.

The group was established by physiotherapist and amateur musician Paul Macneish, who also plays in the three-piece band The String Variables

Kerang Singing Group provides entertainment for residents at a number of aged care facilities across the district within the Shires of Loddon and Gannawarra.

The Pyramid Hill concert followed one at Kerang's Glenarm aged care home and further performances are scheduled for care facilities in Cohuna and Boort as well as Kerang's W. D. Thomas Activity Centre.
