KERANG households impacted by the shutdown of compressed gas will be given support from the Victorian Government to electrify.

Solstice Energy, which operates the 10 compressed networks in regional Victoria, will shut off the supply in 2026 because they are not financially viable.

About 1150 households and 34 businesses will be impacted, with payments offered to help with the transition.
