THE Kerang Pony Club held its annual trials day last weekend.

More than 50 riders enjoyed the event held at the club's facilities at Alexandra Park.

The club's Karen Martin said it was the first event after COVID-19 lockdowns.

"Everyone was certainly excited and happy to be back in the saddle," she said.

"We are only a small club - at present time just five members so a lot of hard work and effort by our committee of parents."

The event was also used as a membership drive.
