A COMMUNITY group has put its hands up to take on a project managing the removal of vegetation blocking the Loddon River at Kerang.

Central Murray Environmental Floodplains Group is in early discussions with North Central Catchment Management Authority to undertake the works, which were highlighted recently in a petition to Gannawarra Council.
