Flooding at Barham is no concern

THE Murray River at Barham was expected to flood yesterday, but the water level remained clear of the river bank.

Vic Emergency on Friday warned that the river may reach the minor flood level of 5.5 metres on Wednesday, with the possibility to rise further.

Barham resident Lloyd Polkinghorne said that the township was safe from flooding.
