NINETEEN-year-old Leitchville Gunbower product Oskar Smartt was taken in the mid-season draft by Essendon at pick 17 last week, making him the third player from the Leitchville Gunbower FNC to join an AFL list.

Smartt began his football career at LGFNC AusKick, and made his senior debut for the LG Bombers in 2021 when he was 15 years old.
