FARMERS have welcomed an inquiry by the competition watchdog into Australia’s supermarket sector, wanting to see a whole-of-supply-chain investigation conducted.

Last week, the Federal Government announced it would direct the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to conduct the year-long inquiry.
