NEWBRIDGE had a middling season in 2023, and with its record of 8-8 – going into the post season on the back of two losses – it was no surprise when the Maroons bowed out in the first week of the finals action.

That’s an incentive, however, which will carry over to 2024 and give the club’s new A-grade coaches something to use as a carrot (or stick, depending on how the season begins).
