Minor flooding expected at Barham on Monday

MINOR flooding is expected in Barham on Monday.

Vic Emergency issued an alert on Friday for minor flooding downstream of the Murray between Tocumwal to Barham.

"The Murray River at Barham may reach the minor flood level (5.50 metres) during Monday, with further rises possible," a Vic Emergency warning said.

This comes after a minor flood peak passed through Corowa on Thursday, October 7, and river levels peaked below minor at Tocumwal on Sunday, October 10.

"This water is now approaching Barham, where the Murray is expected to reach minor flood levels during Monday."
