A RECORD number of people have already cast their votes in the Victorian state election.
There were 1323 early votes on day one last Monday, compared to 702 votes in 2018 – a 53 per cent increase.
More than 820,000 Victorians have already cast their vote, including more than 9400 in the Murray Plains electorate.
There are two pre-polling centres in the Murray Plains electorate, at Swan Hill and Echuca.
Both centres will be open until election eve, before a plethora of polling places open on Saturday.
The Swan Hill early voting centre is at 159 Stradbroke Avenue.
It will open 8.30am-6pm today and tomorrow, 8.30am-8pm on November 24 and 8.30am-6pm on November 25.
