A PACKED out over-18 drag bingo event in Cohuna, facilitated by Northern District Community Health (NDCH), has highlighted the powerful impact dedicated LGBTQIA+ events can have, especially in rural areas, health workers have said.

NDCH youth program co-ordinator Matt Allen said while there was a certain level of apprehension prior to the event, the community response was "really, really fantastic."
