CHILDREN have the chance to design the new youth myki cards that will hit the public transport network next year.

The Victorian Government recently announced free public transport for people under the age of 18 from January 1.

From today, children between the ages of five and 17 will be able to put their creativity to the test as part of a competition to design the new youth myki cards.
