SENIOR Boon Wurrung and Wamba Wamba Elder Aunty Fay Stewart Muir is once again being recognised for sharing her culture and history through her children's books, with Country and Always Was, Always Will Be shortlisted in the 2025 Karajia and Environment Awards for Children's Literature.

Aunty Fay started writing books to create something that represented her First Nations cultures in southeast Australia.
