BULOKE Shire Council will write a letter "of the strongest calibre" to Minister Lily D'Ambrosio calling for greater engagement from the State Government with council and community.

The notice of motion expressed "strong disappointment" in the Minister for not informing councillors and community members of imminent legislative changes when Ms D'Ambrosio visited the shire in early June.
