IN addition to construction of the new VNI West transmission line, the transmission line from Kerang to Bendigo has been earmarked for an upgrade.

VicGrid's draft Victorian Transmission Plan, due to be finalised later this year, proposes upgrading the existing single-circuit transmission line with a high-capacity double circuit line.
