MURRUMBIDGEE Primary Health Network has launched a new grants program offering up to $50,000 for community-led initiatives that support mental wellbeing and suicide prevention in the region.
Grants of between $5000 and $50,000 will be available to fund activities and initiatives that support improved mental wellbeing, reduce suicidal behaviours and distress, and strengthen local capacity for suicide prevention.
The rate of deaths by suicide in the Murrumbidgee continues to be higher than both the state and national average.
