THE Leitchville library will have new opening hours as of August 19.

Following a recent review of its operating procedures, the library, based within the Leitchville Rural Transaction Centre, will be open from 1.30pm-4.30pm Tuesdays.

"The change to the branch's opening hours will enable the library service to maximise its resources during time when the library is at its busiest whilst ensuring staff have adequate support and a safe working environment," council chief executive Geoff Rollinson said.
