CONSTRUCTION of several new infrastructure projects in the shire are set to go ahead in January.

The Gannawarra Shire Council has confirmed work on a footbridge across the creek to Gunbower Island at Koondrook will finally start next month.

Once the footbridge is built, the development of the nearby glamping area will begin.
