KERANG Primary School students took to the town's streets last Friday, ahead of Clean Up Australia Day, tackling any rubbish they could find.

The enthusiastic crew were armed with gloves and bags, and faced a particularly challenging task collecting discarded cigarette butts, which had been tossed into flower beds and elsewhere.
