Gannawarra Shire councillor Sonia Wright has raised concerns over council's community grants funding.

The concerns come as many worthy groups were deemed ineligible under the criteria set by council within grant guidelines.

A total of 24 community groups will share in $82,500 of funding thanks to Gannawarra Shire Council's 2019 Community Grants Program, with a total of 44 applications received.
