Drought money pumps irrigation museum

THE small community of Benjeroop is set to see its long-term plan for an irrigation museum come to fruition thanks to funding from the second round of the Federal Government's Drought Communities Program extension.

The Benjeroop Public Hall committee, which from 2008 to 2012 worked to restore a vintage engine and pump from the area and build a complex to house them, will now construct an extension for a second engine to be displayed along with irrigation memorabilia.
