Transmission Company Victoria will be required to prepare an Environment Effects Statement for the VNI West project, Victorian Minister for Planning, Sonya Kilkenny, has confirmed.

The EES is a rigorous process to assess the potential impacts of a major project in Victoria, overseen by Victoria’s Department of Transport and Planning.
