Keeping clients connected

The Kerang District Health WD Thomas Centre Social Support Programs ceased in mid-March due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. As much as KDH staff have been doing check-ins with clients (consumers) along the way, social isolation and loneliness remains a huge concern.

Students from Kerang South Primary School have been keeping connected with the consumers from the WD Thomas Activity Centre during isolation with letters and pictures. These have been really well received. Many of the consumers don't have family close by or access to computers to keep up with Facebook or other social media platforms.
