THE Kerang SES unit will be shining a brand new light on community events, accident scenes and even to assist police forensic teams, having received a $24,000 lighting tower.

Chris Myers, manager of procurement for SES Victoria, delivered the new Italian manufactured lighting unit, which cost around half the price of a locally made version.
