A MAN charged over the death of Jesse Edwards in Swan Hill last year has been granted bail.

Mr Edwards, a 20-year-old Aboriginal man, died after an alleged brawl outside Barrells nightclub on January 19 2019.

Steven Bartalotta, 57, appeared in Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Thursday, June 18 charged with negligent manslaughter.
