Echuca man Daniel Oberin appeared in court yesterday, charged with the alleged murder of a 29-year-old Daltons Bridge man early Friday morning. Meanwhile, another suspect remains on the run following the fatal attack at an address on Eastons Road, near Cohuna, shortly after 6am.

The Daltons Bridge man was found with life-threatening injuries.

Gunshots were reportedly heard by witnesses.
