THREE long-term Kerang residents are now officially locals according to the town's Lions Club, which bestowed the status on Greg and Cheryl Gin and Faye Burton on Australia Day.

A former president of Kerang Lions Club Mr Gin said the award had been handed out for more than 25 years.
