New year, new bridge

Works to replace the Quambatook-Boort Road bridge with a new structure are scheduled to begin on Monday, January 20.

The bridge, which spans the Avoca River and provides a road connection between the Quambatook township and the Quambatook Recreation Reserve, will be replaced with a two-lane concrete structure that will be able to withstand higher mass limits.
