Since Monday, all eligible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Victorians, over the age of 16, are now able to vote to elect representatives for the First Peoples' Assembly.
The assembly will play a powerful role in supporting Aboriginal communities through the treaty process, helping to create the framework for negotiations, which will set how treaties can be agreed upon in Victoria.
