PROTECTING turtles in our region has become a priority for the Victorian government, recently announcing they will provide more than $7000 to help restore and repair their natural environments.

Turtles Australia Inc is set to receive $7450 from the Victorian Government for their Gunbower Island turtle nest survey and protection and community engagement program.
