Pyramid Hill Football Netball Club player Matt Pollock received a neck injury during the club's three-point loss against Marong on May 1.

Matt suffered fractures in his neck and was taken to the Alfred early on Sunday morning and was operated on last Tuesday.

All indications are that Matt will make a full recovery and he and partner Kristie are in good spirits.
