THE recycling of material from the kerbside collection is set to resume in the Gannawarra Shire next month.

Contractor Veolia confirmed last Friday its material recovery facility (MRF) at Echuca will reopen on February 17.

The company temporarily closed the facility last Monday as a result of the Visy paper mill at Tumut in NSW ceasing to accept mixed paper following the recent bushfires.
