THERE was a good turnout at the Quambatook Australia Day breakfast on Sunday, with drillers from the Goschen mineral sands project and visitors to the Heritage Working Machinery Weekend joining current and past residents at the event.

Among the former locals was Tommy Free, now living in Kerang, whose loyalty in attending the breakfast event over 40 years was recognised with a presentation.
