GANNAWARRA Shire residents will now have to submit questions in writing before question time at ordinary council meetings.

Prior to a review of current practices, questions were verbally asked to members of the council and its chief executive officer.

Those members of the public putting forward questions were able to hand a written copy of them to a council staff member during the meeting.
