COHUNA resident Debbie Grove was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) on Monday for her contribution to the sport of softball.

The AM, which is awarded for service in a particular locality or field of activity or to a particular group, recognised Ms Grove's "significant service to softball through umpiring development roles at the elite level".
