WITH Kerang Technical High School marking its centenary this month, the Kerang Historical Society remembers one of the school's most celebrated teachers.

Kathleen Margaret (Karlie) McDonald was born in 1904 and was educated first at Reedy Lake, where her mother taught from 1890 to 1895, then at Kerang State School.
