Kerang District Health is being inundated with patients who believe the hospital is equipped with emergency department facilities.
Figures reveal more than 220 people seek medical attention from the hospital each month.
Kerang District Health quality coordinator Karen Transton said the hospital did not have an Emergency Department but operated an Urgent Care Centre.
