Counterfeit notes

POLICE are warning residents to be alert of counterfeit currency circulating within the area.

The warning comes as a Cohuna business came into contact with a fake $50 note last week.

Cohuna Police, Senior Constable Dean Closter said the likeness of the counterfeit note was "pretty good" and urged businesses to be cautious.
