MURRABIT Group School's original building is set for a spruce up with the assistance of a Local Community Grant.

Delivering the positive news on behalf of the federal government was member for Mallee Dr Anne Webster.

The allocation of $19,000 will enable the building to be restumped and either painted or clad.
