Lucy Williams

Lucy has returned to the country after seven years in Melbourne. Born in Horsham and raised in Bendigo, she is keen to get back into regional life. While she has a wide range of interests, she is particularly interested in environmental and agricultural reporting. She is also always keen for a history throwback piece and, of course, anything involving animals. Lucy has previously worked on the Youth Research Council for Orygen, the National Centre for Excellence in Youth Mental Health, and as a tutor at several Melbourne University residential colleges. The Masters of Journalism graduate has previously been published in The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and Melbourne University publications Farrago Magazine and The Citizen, and is now working for the Elliott Newspaper Group and writing for the Swan Hill Guardian, The Gannawarra Times, the Sunraysia Daily and North West Farmer.
