Daniels played all his junior football and some senior matches for Nyah Nyah West United and also played with the Bendigo Pioneers before being drafted to GWS in 2017.

His first season in 2018 was interrupted by injury but Daniels has shone this year, receiving a NAB Rising Star award and kicking the winning goal for GWS in their semi-final clash against Brisbane.
