Families in the whites

WITH the Northern District Cricket Association (NDCA) grand-finals being completed, it was a family affair for all clubs that participated in this year's finals.

Nondies had four local families with players in the grand-final whose fathers had previously played with the club. Captain Rhys Bradley's father, Neil, also captained Nondies for 23 years back in the day, and the father of the two Holmes boys playing was also a stalwart for the Nondies Cricket Club over many years. Names such as Donat and Doyle also had parents who are still involved in the club in some manner.
